**Lancia Beta Restoration**
This restoration is undoubtedly the most significant project Classic Car Lab has ever undertaken. It embodies our unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction. We are proud to deliver nothing less than excellence.
While this restoration was in progress, I decided to restructure the management and implement fundamental personnel changes—some out of necessity and others based on timing. I understand this isn’t what clients want to hear, but I stand by my decision, knowing it is ultimately for the best, and I trust our clients will appreciate my approach.
We have filled essential positions with top talent. Paul has stepped in as General Manager, tasked with driving Classic Car Lab to new heights, while Conner leads our paint department. Throughout my extensive experience in classic car restoration, I can confidently say I have never had a better team.
A recent Google Review ( please see below) confirms our team’s outstanding performance. It particularly highlights Lee, our skilled welder and bodywork expert, who has been with us for several years, and Bob, our senior technician. Conner, our outstanding painter, created a flawless finish, with Paul pulling it all together.
Though a severe disability keeps me from daily operations, I remain actively involved from the background. With this dedicated team, we achieved the success we are today.
Everyone, from Wade, our ambitious new apprentice, to Andy Tate, our exceptional IT specialist who has transformed our digital presence, is vital to our operation.
I must also recognise Amanda, my fabulous wife, who has supported me and the business for over twenty years. Adjusting to my disability has not been easy, especially in the last few years, but I refuse to give up.
This extraordinary group of people allows us to continue producing award-winning restorations.
I am excited to share these photos with you and look forward to seeing our work at various Car Restoration shows next year.

“CCL undertook a body restoration and re-paint of my 1979 Lancia Beta Coupe over the spring/summer of 2024. It was previously unrestored.
Although the job took longer than projected and there was a break in progress due to some staffing issues the outcome is superb and I’m hoping to show the car now going forward. Several Beta experts have commented on the quality of the paint finish and in particular the welding around the rear window and the offside sill. With regard to the latter there was astonishment at how CCL had managed to retain a factory seam.
Paul the workshop manager was always attentive and regularly updated me on the progress.
