    Classic Car Servicing FAQ'S

    It is advisable to service your car every year. If you do not use your car during the winter months, then spring and summertime is the best time before you start driving on a regular basis.

    Our advice is yes, especially if it has been sat over winter not being used. It is also an offence if any of your car does not correctly work such as indicator, headlights, horn, brakes etc. It is also common sense to have all the safety checks carried out for yourself and others.

    All prices are agreed beforehand in writing, no work will take place that has not been sanctioned by yourself thus you will not be worried about any work that you have not agreed to giving peace of mind and no surprise bills at the end.
    Our hourly rate is £80 plus VAT. All our costings are transparent.

    Documentation such as a heritage certificate showing matching numbers.
    Keeping up with paint work, especially rusted areas are kept in check
    Having a good service history in your ownership is vital.
    Documentation regarding any work that has been done by a garage and if possible, picking a reputable one that has been established for many years such as Classic Car Lab who have an excellent reputation.

    We have a division called Sports Car Lab in the same building that looks after modern performance, sports and luxury cars.
