Volvo P1800 Restoration

Project Information
Project Description:
Volvo P1800 restoration. A Yorkshire car restoration.
The Volvo P1800 was produced between 1962 and 1969. It was famously driven by the actor Rodger Moore in the television series The Saint.
Jensen helped Volvo produce the car. 10,000 were agreed under contract. The engine was a 1.8 L unit which was vastly under powered in our opinion. Jensen only managed to produce 6000 cars world-wide as they struggled with quality issues. The contract was terminated.
Volvo took over and changed the name to P1800 S. The S stood for Sweden and put a 2L engine in.
This beautiful Red P1800 underwent a sympathetic restoration. A partial re spray was carried out, concentrating on areas of concern. Under seal was added for protection of the underside of the car. A set of new pads and shock absorbers were fitted along with an engine set up a full service and MOT.
I think you will agree this was a wonderful Classic car restoration. This is such a pretty car.
