Aston Martin Vanquish restoration

Aston Martin Vanquish Restoration.

This is the beautiful Aston Martin vanquish which we have looked after for many years and in some ways it has become part of the family. We have serviced this Aston Martin Vanquish for many years and is somewhat fitting to see it beside all the other Classic Aston Martins that we restore. This car is a perfect example of what lies beneath.

On examination of the enormous disk brakes as there was an issue with them, we noticed that there was a large amount of corrosion that was lurking behind them. On taking off the underside panels you can see from the photos that there was a massive amount of corrosion being hidden by underside plates.

If you have an Aston Martin Vanquish then please bring it into us for inspection as this can degrade the car and cause serious issues further down the road.

We carefully removed the rust by hand and a powerful blaster was applied to some of the component’s that we could take off and that were saveable. Some components we replaced as the rust had penetrated too far.

Its such a good example of what lies beneath. If you have panels on your car it will be worth a look to see what’s going on especially if it comes in contact with the elements.
