It’s always heartening to see a car returning back a year on from when it first left us following a major restoration.

You how the engine has performed and see if there are any niggles that need to be looked at after a major restoration.

In this case there were no big issues just a good inspection of the carbs, fuel lines, brakes and steering were looked at. An oil change was needed as a matter of course despite the car only covering a few miles. Coolant levels were checked and replaced and, spark plugs were checked and if necessary, investigated. There were no signs of any oil leaks and the exhaust system that we had replaced was working extremely well. They are made of stainless steel and work exceptionally well. A good road test checked the brakes, and we were happy for it to go.
